Rest in funk, Mr. Stubblefield.

This MIGHT fall under “first world accomplishment.”
TV floating 15 inches out from wall. All HDMI, speaker wire, optical cables and power running through the wall to the basement stairwell. Suck it, Geek Squad! So what if you could have done it faster than the 5 years it took me!
ps…Karen Tuerk, thank you for the crate that I love more than many of my family members!
Oh they’re a gang alright, but the kind that will make you a cappuccino, build you a fire and find you an extra blanket.
Then play some amazing music for you. New promo image for my friends The Mascot Theory. AND you can see them tomorrow night [11.5.16] as part of the fantastc line up for Flannel Fest 2016 at the High Noon Saloon.

Yesterday’s gig at the greatest high school known to humankind.
Spent the day at West High filming a piece about the remarkable AVID/TOPS program. Big shout out to American Family Insurance and their Dreams Foundation and the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County for their support of this great program that truly helps students.
I met some fantastic students and some amazing teachers at West.
And by the way when I am King of the World, I will automatically double all teacher’s salaries. These folks work their butts off to help their students.
Speaking of students, my Co-Director for the day, Nyshun, is in this image helping me check the light. He was calling “Action” like a pro and he’ll probably be directing features on his own soon.
Great big thanks to our wonderful producer, Danielle Borneman.
She was perfect as a first time producer. Notes for Danielle: 12 mins for lunch? Perfect Producer work, but to really get the gig down you have to yell at me much more! 🙂
